Our Impact

For 90 years, the Edmonton Youth Pipe Band has been teaching novices to play bagpipes and drums to a competition standard. Although there is an emphasis on competition, each student is encouraged to do the best they possibly can, at whatever level they decide to participate in.

In addition to the specific skill required to play bagpipes or drums, students learn responsibility, accountability, respect, leadership and life skills that will help them succeed later in life.

Most importantly, students have fun while learning their instrument of choice.
